Resolution of problematic behaviors and acute psychiatric symptoms is among the goals of adolescent psychiatric programs. In addition, the treatment team helps participants develop more effective coping skills to manage the pressures of adolescence, build healthy family relationships, and be better prepared to continue treatment in individual and family therapy following discharge. Dual Diagnosis clients are successfully treated in all of our adolescent mental health programs.

Adult Mental Health Services
Our adult mental health programs provide services for adults with major psychiatric illnesses. Clients admitted to our programs undergo psychological testing and are seen by a psychiatrist for an initial evaluation and then on an ongoing basis throughout treatment.
Dual diagnosis clients are successfully treated in all of our adult psychiatric treatment programs. Our programs emphasize successful resolution of the acute symptoms that precipitated the client’s admission, the formation of a proper medication regimen, and focused intervention addressing the central recurring problems associated with the client’s illness. Clients leave inpatient programs engaged in the treatment process and are well-prepared to benefit from our ongoing individual and family therapy.
In recognizing that individuals in need of acute psychiatric treatment sometimes have difficulty with traditional verbal therapies, our program schedule always incorporates multiple treatment modalities to maximize opportunities for successful intervention.
